Jordon has had a passion for animals her whole life and has been working with them professionally since 2008. She is originally from Rockton, but has lived in Lena since 2010. She got her veterinary technician license in 2010 and became certified in veterinary massage and rehabilitation in 2017. She worked in veterinary practice until 2022, but continues to keep her license up-to-date. She purchased J&C’s Bed and Biscuit in 2020 because she always had a passion to work in the boarding industry. Before purchasing the bed and biscuit,  she would pet sit for people in the area and loved it. She met her husband Cole in Lena, and they were married in 2016 and have a son named Kashton. She currently has 3 dogs named Luna, Lincoln, and Bella, 1 cat, Max, and an Axolotl named Ozzy- but these numbers are always changing! She can’t wait to see what the future holds at J&C’s and hopes to continue serving the area for a long time.

Growing up, I lived on a farm in Lena then later moved to my grandparents farm in Pearl City so my dad could farm the land. I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and was lucky enough to get a job at a vet clinic right out of high school. I became a vet assistant over the 8 years there and then started working at Bed and Biscuit in 2006. I trained with the groomer and absolutely loved it! I love the working environment, the clients, my coworkers, and of course, the animals! I received my Veterinary Assistant diploma in 2007 and my Grooming Certificate in 2013. I married my highschool sweetheart in 2004 and we lived in Freeport for a few years, until we moved back to Pearl City and our daughter Scarlett was born in 2008. I am still surrounded by animals at work and at home with my two mini dachshunds, five cats, and two axolotls.

Meet Sarah! Sarah is a professionally trained Groomer. She holds a Diploma from The Academy of Dog Grooming Arts where she received formal training in basic grooming, as well as Specialty Breed cuts. Sarah also holds CPR certification and has 16 years of experience in the grooming field. When Sarah isn’t at work taking care of her furry clients, she is spending time with her own fur babies and beautiful family!

Ella has been part of the J&C’s Bed and Biscuit family since March of 2019. Currently, she is a junior at Iowa State University where she studies Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine and is in the process of applying to veterinary school. She has tons of experience with animals, whether it be with your companions or farm animals. She spends most of her free time with her three dogs at home and loves to visit and work at the kennel while home for breaks. She loves to stay very involved by working kennels, doing baths, and also doing front desk work!

Peggy has been in the animal care industry for 6 years. She got her start working at a humane society in Wisconsin and has loved working with animals since. She enjoys spending her free time with her fiancé Dylan, their son Grayson, and their 4 dogs whose names are Strider, Loki, Clover, and Azula. Their family enjoys walks to the park and enjoying sweet treats together.

Meet Taylor, she’s been with us since October of 2022.  She’s worked with dogs for 3 years aside from caring for her own personal “zoo,” and is currently going to school to pursue her career in the veterinary field.

Mallory has loved animals since she was a little girl, it’s always been her dream to work with dogs. She has been in the dog industry since April of 2019 and has loved it ever since! She started at Carlson Canine Camp and worked there for about two years. From there, she moved on to Brooke’s Barks & Recreation and was a daycare Bark Ranger for about two years as well! She has been at J&C’s since May 2023 and has loved getting to take care of you and all your furry companions! Mallory works as a daycare counselor, kennel tech and dog bather. Occasionally, you’ll find her at the front desk ready to help you check your dogs in and out for their reservations and appointments! At home, she is accompanied by her dog, Dobby, who is a Chihuahua/Dachshund/Pit mix. Dobby loves to cuddle at home and adores going on car rides with his mama!

Olivia has been employed at J&C’s since June of 2023. She has one dog of her own. Olivia will be graduating from Pearl City in May of 2024, and she plans to attend college and major in animal behavior. In her free time, she loves to hangout with her friends, or dog-sit for locals around the Pearl City area.

Hi, my name is Jessa, and I will graduate high school in 2025. I have 4 cats and a dog of my own. After high school, I plan to go to college and become a veterinarian.

Hey there, my name is Rachel. I am a mother to one amazing son and two wonderful fur babies. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking with my family, and finding waterfalls along the way. I am excited to be a bather at J&C’s and eager to learn all I can, while getting to love on fur babies that come my way!
