Owner
Jordon has had a passion for animals her whole life and has been working with them professionally since 2008. She is originally from Rockton, but has lived in Lena since 2010. She got her veterinary technician license in 2010 and became certified in veterinary massage and rehabilitation in 2017. She worked in veterinary practice until 2022, but continues to keep her license up-to-date. She purchased J&C’s Bed and Biscuit in 2020 because she always had a passion to work in the boarding industry. Before purchasing the bed and biscuit, she would pet sit for people in the area and loved it. She met her husband Cole in Lena, and they were married in 2016 and have a son named Kashton. She currently has 3 dogs named Luna, Lincoln, and Bella, 1 cat, Max, and an Axolotl named Ozzy- but these numbers are always changing! She can’t wait to see what the future holds at J&C’s and hopes to continue serving the area for a long time.
Allie M.
Manager
Allie joined the team in October of 2022 as a kennel technician, and is now the manager here at J&C’s since April of 2023! She’s from Durand, and currently resides in Lena with her husband Colt and their son, Sawyer. She has three dogs of her own- Emmy, Nala, and Marley. She has been around dogs her whole life and getting to work with them is her dream! Allie is who you most often see at the front desk checking you in, making appointments, answering phones, and moving dogs in and out throughout the day. In her free time, she likes to hike, kayak, and play with her dogs and Sawyer.
Danielle S.
Groomer
Growing up, I lived on a farm in Lena then later moved to my grandparents farm in Pearl City so my dad could farm the land. I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life and was lucky enough to get a job at a vet clinic right out of high school. I became a vet assistant over the 8 years there and then started working at Bed and Biscuit in 2006. I trained with the groomer and absolutely loved it! I love the working environment, the clients, my coworkers, and of course, the animals! I received my Veterinary Assistant diploma in 2007 and my Grooming Certificate in 2013. I married my highschool sweetheart in 2004 and we lived in Freeport for a few years, until we moved back to Pearl City and our daughter Scarlett was born in 2008. I am still surrounded by animals at work and at home with my two mini dachshunds, five cats, and two axolotls.

Meet Sarah! Sarah is a professionally trained Groomer. She holds a Diploma from The Academy of Dog Grooming Arts where she received formal training in basic grooming, as well as Specialty Breed cuts. Sarah also holds CPR certification and has 16 years of experience in the grooming field. When Sarah isn’t at work taking care of her furry clients, she is spending time with her own fur babies and beautiful family!

Hey there, my name is Rachel. I am a mother to one amazing son and two wonderful fur babies. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking with my family, and finding waterfalls along the way. I am excited to be a groomer at J&C’s and eager to learn all I can, while getting to love on fur babies that come my way!

Peggy has been in the animal care industry since 2018. She got her start working at a humane society in Wisconsin and has loved working with animals since. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Dylan, their sons Grayson and Kellan, and their 4 dogs whose names are Strider, Loki, Clover, and Azula. Their family enjoys walks to the park and enjoying sweet treats together.
Taylor S.

Meet Taylor, she’s been with us since October of 2022, and has experience working with dogs since 2020. When she’s not caring for our furry guests, she’s busy tending to her own personal “zoo” at home! Taylor wears many hats here, helping out as a kennel attendant, bather, the occasional daycare counselor, and can be seen helping out at the front desk.
Mallory D.

Mallory has been in the dog industry since April of 2019 and has loved it ever since! She started at Carlson Canine Camp and later moved on to Brooke’s Barks & Recreation, and has now been at &C’s since May 2023. At home, she is accompanied by her dog, Dobby, who is a Dachshund/Pit mix. Dobby adores snuggling and going on car rides with his mama! Mallory works as a daycare counselor, kennel tech, bather, and is most commonly known for being the enrichment counselor. She is also taking on training clients! Mallory has done extensive research into dog behavior and is committed to expanding her knowledge as she helps your pups expand theirs.

Naomi has been working with dogs since May of 2004, and has extensive experience in both boarding and daycare. She has also participated in dog activities with her family pets, such as therapy dog work and agility competition. She currently resides in Shannon with her Border Collie, Gaea.

Hi! My name is Jessa and I’m in college studying animal science. I have three dogs, Briggs, D.O.G., and Finley. I also have four cats. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and pets.

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am a mother to some of the most amazing kids in the world and a grandma to a handsome grandson. My passion for working with animals started in 2018 when I started working at a rescue in Wisconsin. It grew bigger than I could ever imagine! I am so happy to be a part of the team at J&C’s and to make all of your furry family members feel at home while with us.

Ella has been part of the J&C’s Bed and Biscuit family since March of 2019. She graduated from Iowa State University in 2025, where she studied Animal Science/Pre-Veterinary Medicine and will be applying to veterinary schools. She has tons of experience with animals, whether it be with your companions or farm animals. She spends most of her free time with her three dogs at home.

Cadie has been with J&C’s since July of 2022 and has three dogs of her own. She currently attends Iowa State University. She spends her free time coming out to J&C’s to help whenever and wherever she can.
